Sharing ideas and helping others (and being helped) is a critical part of animal welfare work. The IFHS provides multiple opportunities throughout the year to network with others involved in the field in Iowa, from national organization representatives, to large shelters, to small volunteer-based rescues and interested individuals. The experiences and expertise of the people you'll meet through these opportunities runs the gamut and includes participants from all across the state.

We hold quarterly membership meetings, periodic informal online "chats", short form seminars and we look forward to resuming our fall conference event in the near future. These are all great opportunities to pause, catch your breath, and benefit from the knowledge and experience of others.
